Three Cheers
Beer Garden Sales App
Role: UX Designer | UX Researcher
Project Goal: To purchase beer at the consumer’s convenience and get it delivered.
Problem
Consumers are too busy living their lives to go to the store and shop for their favorite beers and discover new ones. All though there are plenty of liquor retailers online, none of them specifically cater to beer connoisseurs.
Pain Points
Typical Selections
If you are a true beer drinker, seeing Miller Lite front and center is probably not ideal when shopping for beer. This app will provide popular favorites along with new options to discover.
long Checkout
Customers who are in a hurry want to be in and out of the store. That isn’t always the case since there are lines. This app will allow quick and easy checkout.
Limited Rewards
Most stores that sell adult beverages only offer rewards after customers spend so much. This app will give more incentives to its customers.
Paper Wireframes
Being this my first paper wireframe for a mobile application, I initially drew out my designs with the idea of them needing to mimic desktop sites. I wanted users to build a rapport with the brand by using large images.
Digital Wireframes
After conducting a usability study, I quickly realized that my app design was not user-focused. Users wanted an easier way to navigate back and forth in the app, quicker ways to find their favorites, and buttons that were clearly defined.
High-Fidelity Prototype
In the final prototype, users are able to quickly navigate and complete the purchase goal.
